Through a construction with body sound transducers (working similar to loudspeakers) and an electric violin I was able to make sound waves visible in water. With marbling paint I captured the changing patterns in a static image - the basis of my design was created.

You should enjoy your coffee, take your time and listen to music in peace. The marbling created with music is reminiscent of the image on the surface of a cup of freshly brewed coffee. While enjoying a cup of coffee, you can now interpret your own images and associations into the curved shapes. The cup convinces with a simple and appealing design, which invites not only music lovers to a delicious coffee.

Single cup with white saucer

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0952/6437/5050/files/mou-kaffee-und-musik-1-espressotasse-171-1-tazza-da-espresso-mou-caffe-e-musica_2400x2400px.webp?v=1785491107
