What is the difference between Reniala and E.S.E. pods?
Our Reniala pods contain 10 grams of coffee and are tuned to our own machine system: more coffee per cup gives a fuller body, more sweetness and a denser crema. E.S.E. pods follow the open Easy Serving Espresso standard (44 mm, around 7 grams) and work with all E.S.E.-compatible machines. The two systems are not compatible: Reniala pods only fit Reniala machines, E.S.E. pods do not fit the R1.
How fresh is the coffee – and how do I store it properly?
Once opened, coffee loses most of its aromas through oxidation within about seven days. That is why we pack immediately after roasting and portion individually. Coffee is best stored cool, dry, dark and airtight – not in the fridge. Whole beans keep their aroma longest if you grind them only shortly before brewing.
Is your coffee also available ground or as whole beans?
Yes – many of our coffees are available as whole beans and as ground coffee. You will find brewing tips in our brewing guides.
Do you also offer coffee machines and accessories?
Yes, in our shop you will find coffee machines for Reniala and E.S.E. pods as well as accessories – from cups and chinaware to barista tools and care products.
