For over forty years we have been building its destination.

Amici is a family business from central Switzerland: small enough that on the phone you reach a person who knows your name; old enough that we know how much patience good coffee demands. Founded in 1979, run today by the second generation, with around fifteen people in Steinhausen and Lucerne.

What drives us is a single moment: the thirty seconds in which an espresso comes into being, and the two minutes in which it takes you somewhere else. Everything we do works towards that moment: the farms we plant, the beans we select, the machines we build, the trees we put in the desert.
